Task
Simplify a back pressure regulator valve while ensuring the characteristic.
Solution
Commercial valve was disassembled. Flow channels reverse engineered. CFD simulation helped to understand the operation and to calculate characteristic. Manufacturing process was analyzed, finally flow in simpler geometry was checked with CFD simulation again.
