Equip 4 tube cutter machines with additional flattening roller pairs to increase cut length precision.

Solution

An adjustable tube flattener section was designed for each machine, guards were redesigned. After putting into testing a prototype and longer test period all of them were rebuilt.

Solution

3D laser scanning and mesh optimization of front lower section of the truck subject of running order. Exported model is ready to use as design environment for ballast. Altogether it took a working day only.

In cooperation with our Hungarian customer, we upscaled developed and tailored to unique demands the complete line. It took 3 engineers and 6 months to create the manufacturing documentation. In the second part of 2024 we started manufacturing non-outsourced components.

ASAP repair of a broken non-weldable large spur gear.

Solution

After disassembling and measuring its module we took a chance with welding. After it turned out that it is not possible to weld and it becomes obvious that it is not available as a commercial part, we decided to use the original spur and manufacture a new hub. Hub was glued to spur, and fine cut finally.

Increase OME of a product quality checker machine.

Solution

We redesigned the gripper geometry. The new form and with an additional straightening motion of the pliers decreased false sorting of product. We also implemented new product rotator actuators in front of the camera and optimized the supporting structure and decreased energy chain drag force. All these changes decreased inertial load of a linear drive, which increased acceleration resulted in shorter cycle time. Intensive usage of additive manufacturing (Stereolithography, Laser Sintering and Multi Jet Fusion) characterized this project.

Food transport between parting and sorting machines. We had to create new belts while fulfilling HACCP guidelines.

Solution

After a detailed survey we updated the process layout. In this 3D environment we refined our concept in cooperation with our Customer. An optimized, still sturdy modular conveyor system was implemented for this project. With the suspended belt system, we managed to ensure maximum free space for operators.

Decrease tin-plated wire end bending process cycle time, avoid bending with incorrect bending plane orientation relative to connector pin of other side.

Solution

Our concept was to rearrange assembling and bending production steps. Bend two wires simultaneously and put the process on a rotating table.

We created conceptual models for budgeting purposes. After order was placed we worked in close cooperation with our Customer.

Task

Dimension checking of 3 different kinds of thermo formed product trays to find root case of handling difficulties.

Solution

With the aid of a scanning fixture and automated measurement application we created measurement reports for each tray. Every tray has about 20 different dimensions to check.
